Feb. 12th 2009 Freedom of Information Act
Request to Central Management Services

Below is my first Freedom of Information Act Request which was directed to Central Management Services (CMS). Unfortunately, after an extension by CMS and weeks of waiting, CMS has left out several portions of my request.

Overall Observations:

VERY incomplete response by CMS!
Poorly organized
With all the technology we have its sad that anyone has to go through this in the first place just to find out what government is up to!

I will have more follow-up and FOIAs to come.


Governor Quinn, please look into what the leadership of CMS has been doing for the past 6 years and clean house immediately!! Specifically check into the TSP contract and what the state pays for contractors, the motivations behind all contracts in general as well as the waste of state funds to pay for Chicago CMS Senior Management as well those of other agencies to come and work in Springfield each week for the past 6 years.
